What Are Some Non-Invasive Options for Facial Rejuvenation?

If you’re bothered by signs of facial aging but aren’t ready to consider surgery, we have good news for you. You have more non-invasive treatment options today than ever before to turn back the clock on facial aging. Whether your concern is wrinkles, age spots, or the early stages of sagging skin, treatments are available that don’t involve incisions or downtime.

Here are some of our favorites.

Botox

Botox injections are the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment for good reason: They work to make you look younger and don’t cut into your busy life. In the hands of a skilled doctor, precisely placed Botox injections stop the repetitive contractions of facial muscles that cause expression lines to deepen and harden. As your expression muscles relax, your skin recovers and facial wrinkles and creases soften. Dysport works in the same way and gives some patients better results. For safety and optimal results, you should always go to a board-certified plastic surgeon for these treatments.

Dermal Fillers

Injectable fillers are the next-most-popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment. They work by adding volume to the skin below lines and wrinkles and to areas of the face that have thinned or hollowed with age. Filler can be used to soften or erase mild to moderate wrinkles, plump your lips, and round your cheeks for a younger look. Each treatment lasts for several months and can be extended with refresher injections.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels address a range of facial aging problems. By removing dulled surface skin and stimulating the growth of new skin in replacement, chemical peels can smooth wrinkles, tighten skin that has begun to loosen, and give you a brighter, more even complexion. Different chemical peels correct different types and degrees of facial skin problems. Mild peels are quick and easy. Deeper peels make more-significant improvements but also require time for recovery.

Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing is another amazing treatment. Like a chemical peel, laser skin resurfacing removes dead skin from the surface of your face and stimulates new tissue growth. Our CO2 laser treatment is a potent cosmetic treatment that produces dramatic rejuvenating results. It takes a few weeks for the final results to appear, but when they do, you’ll be delighted by your smooth and evenly colored complexion.

HydraFacial

HydraFacial treatment cleans and hydrates the skin using a patented Vortex-Fusion system that delivers the active ingredients into your skin’s inner layers. The treatment is fast and easy, with no downtime. You’ll see results right away in a more even skin tone, clean pores, and less-visible lines and wrinkles.

Microneedling

Microneedling stimulates collagen production in the skin through the use of microscopic punctures, increasing your skin’s elasticity and helping it retain moisture for a smoother, younger-looking complexion. It also works to correct areas of discoloration. In our practice, we use the SkinPen microneedling device for beautiful results. SkinPen is an excellent choice for treating acne scars.
